Fungal Balls, an In & Out Surgery, and a New Southpaw (?)

Latest on Rebecca. Jim has informed us that Becky's second surgery, a procedure to remove a fungal ball, went off without a wrinkle. A fifteen minute procedure did the trick. The fungal ball has found a new home in the medical lab on petri dishes and various other medical paraphenalia. The operation concluded at 10:30 AM. Even better news: Jim was informed Becky may be able to go home tomorrow - maybe even today if she feels up for it! An interesting sidenote: Jim noticed that Becky was eating her hospital meal yesterday with much robustness. But the really interesting thing was that she was holding the fork with her left hand and using it as if she had been left-handed all her life. She even spun it around on the tip of her left index finger like a basketball! Go figure! The main thing is that Becky is doing great and it looks like she will be able to join in the Thanksgiving escapades soon. Later!
