BECKY IS HOME!

Yes indeed. Rebecca is home. Today Jim brought his girl home. It seems surreal that between thursday and today, Becky has undergone two separate surgeries for two completely different conditions, but both involving her head. But she is home! This evening there was the first of several (many, perhaps unending) homecoming celebrations. Becky was greeted first by her children. Later Uncle Dan and Vicky joined the festivities at the Hilton home to be followed by Mark, Joan, Bob, and Levi. Perhaps others came by as well before the masked surrogate blogger's arrival. This evening Becky sat in her beloved couch where many an evening she has drifted off to the land of nod while unwinding from the latest episode of "Lost" or "Dancing with the Stars." Not surprisingly, after a series of greetings, myriad conversations, Uncle Dan "life of the party" moments, and one unexplanable but fairy innocuous occurrence, Becky succombed once again to the sedate siren call of slumber enveloping her on the couch. The Party continued without a pause - even ramping up a notch or two as Uncle Dan provided entertainment in a barrage of jokes, recollections of Danny James and Hawaii, and Slovak history. One odd occurrence, striking because of the element of coincidence, involved a cluster of Joe's legos. Joe had some of his legos on the floor, and Becky had asked Joe to pick them up. Joe obliged, but missed one block that was out of his view - but not the masked blogger's. Becky nodded off shortly after. Interestingly, as the masked blogger was reaching for another gulp of his fourth (or fifth?) glass of wine, the corner of his eye caught what he thought was a red lego silently levitating in the air toward the lego box. A blink later the lego had joined the others in its rightful storage container. Not long after, Becky gave an unconscious sigh of contentment, mumbled "that's better," and retreated to her bedroom for the night. The rest of us partied on, and the masked blogger will be back again tomorrow for the latest news on the new chapter: THE CONVALESCENCE. Later.
