The Eve Before La La Land at OHSU

Well. Twas the night before Becky's little adventure at the hospital. The Oregon family are spending some time at the Hiltons tonight eating pizza and reminiscing about all of our own medical debacles. Such a pleasant walk down memory lane for all of us. Well. We are all ready to get tomorrow over with. Grammma (Joan, Mom, Joanka, etc.)and Bob came over to spend the night at Mark's. Tomorrow Jim, Maddie, Emma, Joe, Levi, Gramma, & Bob will caravan up to Portland to be with Becky until the brain surgeon and his entourage kick the lot of us out of the operating room. Jennifer and Mike will try to drive up after the surgery to see Becky. Becky will be in ICU overnight and then convalescing at the hospital for three to five days. She will be back home just in time to greet the Northern and Southern Californians coming up for Thanksgiving. Becky and Bob have been discussing what role she should play upon returning to Canby to greet Uncle Dan. Perhaps Jack Nicholson's Randall P. MacMurphy in One Flew over the Cookoos Nest (after electroshock therapy) OR maybe the Bride of Frankenstein. Anyway. We are all praying for a smooth operation and a speedy recovery. We ask that all of her family and friends pray for her too. What do you know! The Van Orsows just showed up tonight, as well. Time to chat with real voices. We will keep you devoted readers of Becky's Blog posted.
