ICE by the Numbers

1 inch of ice (doesn't sound like much, but in ice language, it's ALOT!) 

2 hours of sleep as we listened to branch after branch split from it's tree and crash to the ground - like a night of gun shots! 

3 surprise pizzas delivered from Wisconsin! 

Ok, not all the way FROM Wisconsin, but ordered by Wisconsin Rob and Deb so we could have a WARM, cheesy, yummy meal.  (And so Becky could put the warm boxes in her lap for some much needed warmth.)

4 days without a shower. Did I just admit that? Thank you EMMA, as she opened her shower to us and made us Hodduks!

51 degrees in the house. Not nice. Thinking about those in Texas and other places whose homes could be colder and without water .... 

6 C batteries to power a boom box - gotta love those boom boxes! 

7 days with no power + no heat = MISERABLE.  Hang in there friends who are still waiting ....

8:00 bed time - what else are you gunna do? (I confess. It's my bedtime when the power is on as well lol!) 

9 gazillion icicles on everything!!! 

10 frozen fingers have finally thawed enough to blog about it .....
