A recent conversation between Krew members during Robotic season at our house.....
Names have been hidden to protect the verbally challenged .... (but several of you will know who is who anyway .....)
Him ~ “So tell me a little more about your robut. Is it a penalty if the robut falls down? Can the robut try to help other robuts that are on the field?”
(silence in the car as we are processing what has just been said ….. finally, we gather our wits to respond)
Her “Did you just say 'roBUT'”?
Him “ Oh come on, I'm not the only
person on the planet who says 'robut'?”
Her “Ummmmm, yes, I do believe you
are.”
Him “RoBUT, roBOT ....same thing.”
Her “Well, not really. For one thing …. roBOT
becomes 'roBOTICS and roBUT becomes 'roBUTTOCKS, so that can't be
right, now, can it????”
