Labor day did not slide by without all the last minute cramming we could get out of it. The krew traveled to Seaside for our one and only day at the beach this summer for all 5 of us together. The girls were in charge of entertainment control (via their ipod music collections), traffic was good (is there such a thing? is good traffic really traffic?). The sun was scarce, but so was the wind and that is always good. And there was clam chowder at Dooger's. And there were jumping pictures.
Then we came home to Mark's official new BBQ break in. He treated all of us to chicken on his new grill on his new deck at his new house. And there was Elsie's potato salad and THAT is always good.
And tomorrow is the first day of school for most of us here at the Hilton house.
And I sharpened 6 dozen #2 pencils because incoming 2nd graders need that many for some reason. And now I have 3 blisters on my hand because we do not have an electric pencil sharpener. And that is NOT good.Summer is over .... bummer.....

manda looks like a porcupine or one of thoes hard core people who get mohawks and pierce there face all over. and have 2 and a half inch guages. in the last picture
