The Hike of the Month Club is up and running. Well, maybe not "running" but we will NOT let sore knees, broken toes, or other appendage complaints keep us down! Right team????
Step #1 - Choose a destination and go. No whining, no complaining!
Step #2 - Wear appropriate foot gear as to NOT break your toes or other appendages.
Step #3 - Stay on the beaten path. In the fall, this path may be buried in leaves ....
all the more to look at in awe.
Step #4 - Watch your step, but look up often and enjoy the scenery.
Step #5 - Always hike with a buddy (demonstrated by Colby and Jim)
Step #6 - Bring cameras (and more buddies, like Bob and Jenny, if possible)
Additional tips: Always secure the lid on your coke bottle that is stored in the back pack. Bring a walking stick for rough trail spots and to fight off potential dangers. Watch out for spider webs in the fall with large hungry spiders in them (right Jenny?).
We missed all the club members that had (cough) "better things to do" (cough) you slackers! Brought to you by the Hike of the Month Club co creators - Jenny and Becky, and Latourell Falls in the Columbia River Gorge.
