Camping, Cousins, Coffee and The Cove

Summer has UNofficially begun!  We kicked off UNoffical summer by camping at The Cove at Lake Billy Chinook, complete with ghost stories, jiffypop, and a windstorm that resulted in a temporary campfire ban because of a nearby forest fire.

The campers reported the following as their favorite things this camp-out:

The youngsters:
Colby ~ the campfire
Jessy ~ swimming and setting up the tents

The teenagers:
Joe ~ chopping wood
Ray ~ sleeping, boating and stuff
Natalie ~ when everything is set up and you're sitting around the fire.  And Ligretto!

The adults:
Jenny ~ waking up, sitting around the fire & Jim makes coffee
Becky ~ camp coffee, sunshine and the smell of pine
Mike ~ "Camping here with you, Becky and the fact that all our coffee needs were met because of the awesome Hiltons."  (quotation marks added to emphasize that Mike really said this.)
Jim ~ The first smell of sage as you make it over the mountains .... (hmmmm Jim, we were hoping your favorite thing was making all of us camp coffee!)
